coach-frank, 700.00 is what the bodyman told me to complete the project. 300.00 for the main color plus catalyst primer and other things. i didn't post what he told me i didn't want to seem a fool if he was overcharging me. i have seen his work and it is first class that is why i can't get it back, he is looking for perfection and i want a daily driver. ron

700 is reasonable for the whole works Ron - I just bought one [1] gallon of epoxy primer with amendments and it cost 250$ - good paint can be had at less, but it takes more than you'd think to cover a whole truck, never mind the bus I'm dealin with!!!

I started pricing materials like body filler, papers, primers paint etc. I have changed my mind about what kind of paint due to cost. My truck will not set out in the sun & rain too much so I am going to paint it with enamel, old single stage paint with a lacquer base primer. It's way cheaper than the two part paints & primers.I don't have much for rust issues to deal with so I feel comfortable doing it this way, and it's a lot cheaper. Wet sand & buff it and it will look fine for me.
