The family member that no one talks about. Back on the road after parked in the back for 20 years. Daily driver now and enjoying every minute.

I had a 1964 Corvan van in 1972.

I will not tell you what I carried in it, but it was the smoothest driving van I have ever driven (and, like many Corvair engines in the south, it leaked a lot of oil from the oil return-tubes from the heads to the block).

Grass.
Gas.
And other word which rhymes with grass and gas?

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

In the case of my 65 Corvair, it was gas, grass and ummm oil LOL....

Every time I'd speed shift it the fan belt would fly off and it would start poor smoke through the vents. One time I finally got this pretty gal to take a ride in it and of course I had to speed shift it. Yep, It looked like a Cheeh and Chong cruiser it was smoking so bad as she jumped out when I stopped. Never got her back in it.....

Man, it was a fun car to drive tho.....
