Is that all correct?
Secondly is it possible to fit backing plates and brakes from a later year truck and retain the original 6 lug wheels, and original spindles / axels?

There was some minor adjustments to make , one I can remember was the 2 bottom bolts on the steering arm were larger diameter , maybe from 7/16" to 1/2" . I'm sure someone else will fill in the gaps , I did this 20yrs ago and no longer remember it all . | | | | | Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 46 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2018 Posts: 46 | Will this work for the rear brakes as well?

Be sure to factor in any differences in the bore and stroke of the master cylinders- - - -that might need to be changed as well. Jerry
