For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 19 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 19 | I haven't posted in a while but was wondering if someone out there could give me some ideas on polishing the upper and lower side mouldings on my 1972 C-10. They are all in very good shape as far as dents and dings but are very dirty and dull. I have bought several polishes from the auto parts store but they are still very dull when I am done. I was considering buying a buffing wheel for my bench grinder but really don't know that much about them. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. | | | | | Joined: May 2002 Posts: 155 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2002 Posts: 155 | If they are stainless, use white rouge..if they are aluminum, use green rouge..most truck stops carry it in liquid form for use with a buffer..also, you can get all yer buffing, polishing answers from Eastwood.
hope this helps
