Anyone know a vendor that sells a chromed 57 truck grill that is not a overseas reproduction. I would like GOOD chrome on an original grill.
I know they are expensive.

Thank you in advance!

If it comes from a vendor,,its from overseas, and it'll have "so-so" chrome on it.
You will be better off to have your orig. grille chromed. Or hit the swap meets and hopefully get lucky.............
Good luck,

That's what I plan on doing.
Currently my grill, headlight trim and bumpers are all painted white. I'll eventually find a local chrome guy to fix minor dings and chrome everything.

you won't find any vendor selling original 57 grills, rechromed or otherwise ... the 57 is the most recently reproduced of the TF years, and the quality will be as good as the vendors guarantee .... when the chrome peels will they replace it?

I just got a quote from Bumper Boyz out of California. They want $1,000 for an original 57 grill totally restored with new triple plating chrome. If I had a core they would have given me $150 off. Does anyone know about these guys?

Thanks, David
