Sorry to repost this message, but I forgot to check the send me a notice.

I noticed an old 38 Chevy truck that had two step pads on the rear bumper that were flat, round and chromed on top They were used for access to the rear bed. I have a 46 Chevy truck and would like to find a couple for it.

Where can they be bought? How much?

They are small and round about 3 or 4 inches in diameter and fit on the rear bumper like a step up pad. The ones I saw where chromed or aluminum. There were two of them!

I have only seen it on one guys truck and I forget his name. He was living in the Dallas Ft Worth are!

Oh well!!

They usta put em on the Model A rear bumpers for the step-up into the rumble seat. Possibly try a Ford parts place.
Good luck,

46Dan,

check out 6cylindersovertexas pictures of his 37 truck, he has the steps you are talking about on the rear bumper brackets.
