For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2018 Posts: 32 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2018 Posts: 32 | I’m excited to be here and get future advice from some more experienced people on this site. I acquired what I think is a 48 1 1/2 ton. I’m not sure of the exact year or size because there is no title. It’s a five lug dually with the 3rd VIN sequence of 30. Any ideas? Hope I can help and receive help from others that have a passion for American automotive history!

Welcome Logan. Be sure to get a clear title before you invest too much into it. Lots of knowledge here, just be sure to check out the various forums and go from there. Good luck! As Leo stated, make sure you can get a clear title before you start down that long money spending road. You would be surprised how many projects turn up in the Parts for Sale section of the Swap Meet forum just because the title process was too expensive or just downright impossible. Good luck.ðŸ›

"3rd VIN sequence of 30" ???
Where is that ID code located? What is the full ID code? Can you attach an image/photo of the ID plate?
What is the code pressed into the block, just to the rear of where the distributor enters the block?
