I have been reading about the T5 swaps and I'm wondering if the hydraulic clutch has anything to do with this potential transmission swap?
I would like to change from my existing 3 speed Saginaw transmission to the S10 V6 T5 manual speedometer tranny I picked up. I am unsure as to the effect the hydro clutch will have on the swap-if any. Is the hydro clutch just the actuator mechanism outside the bellhousing or is it somehow different on the inside of the clutch with the hydraulic clutch also?

How the clutch is actuated would have nothing to do with the transmission swap. My understanding is that the clutch gear is longer on the T5 and has a different spline so those issues will have to be dealt with. Also, the swap will require a driveshaft modification to include the appropriate front yoke.
