It's been a long time since I've been active on this forum, and I am in need of some help. I have seen a few posts about swapping from a manual trans to a aluminum Powerglide, and unfortunately most of those posts are from years ago. Anyway, I am doing the same swap and I am in need of the tranny bracket that mounts to the frame and links up the shifter on the PG. They have one a Brother's, but its for a '67-'72, also it isn't shaped the same, the legs are twisted, etc. (It looks like a 'U' with a guide pin in the center.) Does anyone have one of these I can purchase, or does the one from a '67-'72 work, or do I just have to break down an fab one? (I live in MI so junk yard finds are out of the question around here.)
