| | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 212 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 212 | I have a 58 apache 3100. I got the parts from LMC. Followed the tech tip here on the site and had no problems . I did drill down into the ball shaft with a 5/16 bit. Used a lot of transmission fluid to keep the bit cool while drilling. Stop drilling about half way into the ball and drive it out with a hammer and punch. It helped because I had another front end that I took the tie rod and steering arms from to rebuild while the truck was still working
