Some of you guys are pros at finding these on the web. I could not. If all else fails, I did find a 5/8-11 female to M14 Male adaptor that I'll just grind down and rethread to M10. Purpose will not justify having one made at a machine shop. THIS IS FOR LOW SPEED APPLICATION. Appreciate the help fellas.

Most any Ace Hardware should have exactly what you're looking for, #27921. Weiler makes them. I think Makita was one of the last ones to use the M10 shaft on their angle grinders, still some of those grinders out there also. Most everybody now makes theirs with the 5/8-11. The grinding wheel/wire wheel industry made that happen.

Mike, so I need the opposite of that fitting. That one allows you to use a 5/8 attachment on a grinder with a M10 arbor. I want to use an M10 attachment on a grinder with a 5/8 arbor. I don't think they are made, probably for safety reasons. I'm gonna have to red neck it.....

But you are probably correct. Going the route you want to go is going to extend whatever you use too far out.
However, I see guys taking the guard off a 4-1/2" angle grinder so they can use 6" cutoff wheels.Too close for me.
