The gauge has always jumped around quite a bit while I’m driving, at least 1/4 tank amount on the gauge when running, meaning when it’s full it jumps from 3/4 to full. It seems to do that throughout the cycle from full to empty, although empty is before the dot for empty. I purchased a new sending unit to have on hand when I remove the one in the gas tank, but I also be thinking about the Guage? Your thoughts are appreciated! Kevin

The gauge moving while driving is quite normal in my truck. | | | | Joined: Feb 2015 Posts: 33 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2015 Posts: 33 | Wow, hadn’t thought of that, I do hear swishing from time to time so maybe no baffles are in there, I’ll check when I open it up, thanks, kevin

This would take place at the gauge itself and is pretty simple with a little math or ‘seat of your pants’ on the work bench using capacitors.
