I have read where people have drill the end of there crankshaft for a small block bolt. But I am planning on using a balancer off of a 216 with the hand crank teeth so I guess that means I can't use a balancer bolt? Also it says to use sealer on the adapter to block surface what kind of sealer is used red, black or grey? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,868 Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) | | Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,868 | The 216 balancer can be modified to accept a center bolt by boring a step into the front of the hand crank lugs in a lathe. The hand crank can't be used then, however.
