Martin, anyway you can sneak away and join us?
Back on topic, Looks like the meal planning is coming together and we can still use some volunteers to help. Easy side dishes are also needed. Keep the term "grab and go" in mind. How are we set up for tables and chairs? The fry station will be self supplied. Hopefully in the same corner as last year. Lawn chairs are a must bring item.

It's the Filipino version of an egg roll- - - - - -ground pork, shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, chopped onion, and garlic, wrapped up in an eggroll pastry and deep fried. Good stuff! I can bring the fixin's already prepared, and roll up the finger food sized goodies ready for the fryer in just a few minutes. I like mine dipped in oriental hot chili sauce. Jerry

Just had the propane tank filled back up today. I can also bring a second pot to have a dueling fry contest. The LDT is taking over!!

Easy side snacks can be added and help with putting away and clean up is still needed. The best way to help is to just walk up and ask one of the cooks, "How can I help you?" Help with after meal clean up, really makes you feel like part of the team. See everyone in a week, and the wife can't wait to see me gone for a week.

I purchased sugar and creamer for the weak ones. A few last minute items and I will be ready to roll! And a lot closer! 36 cup percolator is still in the old F-250. and our living room is starting to stack up with loaded plastic tubs to bring. Hopefully the new little red truck, can get over the mountains and back to the midwest.

I would probably have one person with me. I hope this will be ok. I'm sorry I didn't sign up sooner, but I wasn't sure how. I guess I should have asked. | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,442 Bolter | Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,442 | 63, two threads below this one, “Registration”.
