I have been using an old seat cushion out of an old tent trailer to lay on while I'm under my truck. It had great foam, perfect size 2x4', had nice dark brown tough fabric to camouflage the grime. Well, needless to say after a couple years of work, welding and naps she was in very rough condition. A couple times I caught it on fire 😳.

Not anymore! I was given a large roll of excess fire blanket material from my brother and proceeded to rewrap my old cushion.
It is so awesome to nap...I mean work comfortably under the old 1 ton again.

Very important, and often forgotten requirement of a creeper is quality napping. I recently picked up one from Northern that had an adjustable headrest so you do not have to hold your head up. Bolter meditation indeed.

I know this is an old post now but I will share this anyway. hopefully someone may benefit from it. I keep a little childs "prescool" nap pad that folds up under my truck seat so if i nto crawl under the truck for any reason its as comfortable as a creeper. its a smooth vinal with a foam core inside. if it gets dirty just wipes off.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
