finally after years of talking and looking , my friend called and said they would sell me the truck they own. To say I was thrilled is an understatement. She is in pretty good shape or sitting outside for along time, has all the usual rust places that will need attention,,but the engine has been changed to a later V-8 small block with electronic G M ignition which I am glad of. First thing to do is get the engine running , change oil and filter, coolant, then free up one stuck brake on the left rear dual. Been looking through part books and have ordered a couple of catalogs to get a feel for parts availability, my plans are to use it on the farm and my wife has already told me what color would be nice to paint it, so at least she is ok with this.
