I’m trying to bring the bed sides vertical to my tail gate. They are angled out at the top about an inch on both sides. What can I do to bring these in closer to the tail gate?

Loosen the 4 bolts on the bottom of the rear stake pocket, realign the bed side, and then re-tighten. Then do the other side. That should do it, hopefully, without having to loosen things further forward.

that should work - i did it on mine. you can put a ratchet strap across the rear stake pockets to pull the sides together if need be. open or remove the tailgate to give room to over-pull a bit. they will spring back into the desired position.

After loosening the bolts you can use a paint stir for a guage and bolt thru the chain hook hole to maintain desired gap. Have fun and good luck

Well this proved to be quite easy and now I have straight sides. Had a warped tailgate and corrected that too. Thanks for the advise. BTW I also only had 2 bolts on each side so now it should remain that way after adding the bolts.

I’ve been on vacation all week so I’m knocking off my to do list.
