None of the classic Chevy parts websites that I peruse carry them. Plenty of 'Okie' bushings for half tons though. Anyone have a line on one or know where I could find one? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The parts manual Tim referenced lists it as being 1 9/16 Do you know why the same part number has two different diameters? I'd love to get one too, but the smaller size worries me unless there's a reason I'm just not picking up on. Thanks!

I did not check on the size difference .
I saw 596907 on ebay .
Why would GM have two different sizes for the same part # ?
I sure as heck don't know .
Call one of the other parts sellers & get one of their GM NOS bushings & have them check the size .
I'll leave the post right there .
Maybe someone else can figure it out .
I just went to ebay , I see the bushing is listed as: 2W - 596907 .
Was there a GM part # like that ? I think NOT .
I just sent the seller on ebay a question asking him to measure the bushing length .
I'll post back if he answers me .
Maybe the number on the box is worn ? Making the 9 look like a 7 ?

The I.D. shows 1.602 to 1.603 picture1 9/16" converts to 1.5625 1 39/64 converts to 1.6094 1 5/8" converts to 1.6250 The bushing in the picture is real close to the NOS 1 9/16" I.D. in the parts manual. I think I found the ad you were referring to. Not sure where how the 2W comes into play, never seen a classic GM part with that prefix. Bought the box of 6 of these bushings (in the original box). I took a chance on them for about $5 a piece w/shipping. Should be here in a week or so. Once I confirm they are the correct bushings, I will have 5 extra if anyone else is in need of one. Will let you guys know whether or not they are the correct ones.
