On a 56 column shift how do I hold the spring pins in while trying to put shift lever back on. They seem to get cocked slightly and will not pop out into the shift lever.
Great news! I was ready to tell you that it can't be done on purpose. They only go in from random circumstance, and cannot be duplicated in only one lifetime. I resisted because I didn't want to discourage you.
