I have Fluid Film, PB Blaster, lithium grease, WD-40, light machine oil, motor oil, grease, bicycle chain lube, powdered graphite., etc., all available like most garages. Did take some massaging to get it on but I think it will help prevent having to clean and relubricate them over and over.

I removed the cable from its sheath to clean it up, then sprayed the Penephite in the hollow end (both sides). I did observe the Penephite creep its way to the outside of the spiral.
