I recently saw good ones on an ebay truck. This is a lime green, or chartreuse, 57 for sale in Arkansas, ebay item # 140095079464. I contacted the seller, but he said the mirrors came with the truck. Does anyone in Stovebolt land know where these can be purchased? Every month I examine the rigs in Custom Classic Trucks and Vintage Truck, and I have several catalogs of custom add-ons, but have not been inspired until I saw those on Ebay. My 59 has been fitted with O.E. style mirrors from Chevy/GMC full size pickup, 1973-1987 years. They mount amazingly well in terms of following the body curves vertically, look natural as can be, and offer great visual coverage. They are stainless bodied and VERY EASY TO FIND CHEAP. Hope this helps, maybe we share the same tastes. Grant. That's funny, I just went back the other way to the small OEM style sideview mirror from a large mirror that came off an 80's truck. Isn't nearly as useful as the large mirror, but I don't drive the truck much and I like the original look much better. Too bad for me that my grandfather didn't save the original mirror after he installed the larger mirror. Just looked at the ebay item. The mirrors that I removed were larger with a larger vertical dimension than horizontal.
