So I gently tried to tighten the remaining screw and it twisted off too. I got one screw out but couldn't get the other out. Pretty small. Think it could be drilled out? Didn't know if these screws were even available . Maybe someone has an extra base laying around. Any suggestions? | | | | Joined: Nov 2017 Posts: 29 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2017 Posts: 29 | I found some screws on internet, so I may try drilling it out. Anyone happen to know what size these screws are? | | | | Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 2,715 Carburetion specialist | Carburetion specialist Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 2,715 | Good carburetion is fuelish hot airThe most expensive carburetor is the wrong one you attempt to modify. Also when trying to remove them, drill from the head side of the screw so you don't have to mess with the back side thats been peened over. Most of the time they screw right out. A little heat might also help, and key word is LITTLE!

I was able to find some 6-32 screws at the hardware and drill them out so it worked out. Got the carb kit put in and all back together. | | |
