I'm wondering if anyone has attempted to swap the whole ball of wax into an AD truck.
Making that swap would solve a bunch of problems associated with my V8 engine swap as it would move the steering box and I could use a power steering box and maybe a hydroboost for the brakes too.
I know some of the bigger one like school buses I once worked on had torsion bars and that probably wouldn't work but the ones with coils might. I suspect that the front track would be wider but how much? 1951 3800 1-ton"Earning its keep from the get-go"In the DITY Gallery1962 261 (w/cam, Fenton headers, 2 carbs, MSD ign.), SM420 & Brown-Lipe 6231A 3spd aux. trans, stock axles & brakes.
