The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop Replacing floor pan section in a '51

I have a buddy who needs to replact the complete floor in his 51 project and is looking at the unit distributed by Dynacorn, part #1106A that comes complete with rockers, etc. (you can see a picture at www.dynacorn.com, then click on the picture of the chevy truck, then do a search for "floor panel" or the part #)

My question is, has anyone used this unit and found it to be satisfactory for quality and fit?

Larry, I have no experience with it, but wanted to see what you were looking at. When I click on the link it goes nowhere. It may be my DNS setup, I am not sure.

I will eventualy get this information correct on seeing the photo. The last link I posted works but the first thing to to is "click" on "Catalog" in the top bar when the site comes up. Then click the "truck" photo and do the search. Sorry for the confusion.

Well, my buddy didn't actually buy it from Dynacorn as they are the distributor or possibly the manufacturer (China). That was the only photo I could find. He purchased it at Classic Parts in Riverside, Mo. Since he is a member of the Genuine Chevy GMC Club of KC they gave him a 10% discount and I think it amounted to $450 plus tax. Since they consider it a stocked item and he will pick it up at their store he didn't have to pay shipping.

Thanks for that. I think we are stuck (at the moment) with China for these parts. Do you think the guage of the metal is similiar to original?

I'm not sure on the metal thickness but it is supposed to be in within the next few days so I'll check it out and try to let you know.
