Does anybody got a good pict. Of a 248 engine, wanting to look at the oil lines and vacacum lines. Tks. Mike

Here's my '54 248. The large copper colored line is the fuel line, the little one is the vacuum advance and the medium one is going to the oil filter. The line feeding the rockers is painted red and against the block. Where the line for the rockers goes into the head there is a restricting orifice.

I believe they were originally raw steel except the line for the rockers, it was painted.

If you mean red for the motor, yes it was. GMC switched from Olive to Red in 1951.
