| | | | Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 155 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 155 | This past Sat. we pulled the motor and the cab,, I have he cab resting on Boat dollys and I have to build a work dolly so I can move the cab around and get the metal work underway. The chassis I am thinking I can blast in its place I have a few cross members to move and a Gas tank to hang in the chassis,, let me know if anyone has any suggestions

| | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 . | | . Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | A good cab dolly is a section of otherwise scrap frame from similar model truck and some scaffold wheels removable from pieces of pipe welded to each corner.
The frame already has the cab mounts in the right place.
wheels can be removed when transporting cab on dolly on a trailer.

He then had wheels under it. Just a thought.
