Same rubber seal on all the doors, including panel and suburban.

I might not understand what has been asked and posted.

The rear doors on my 1954 Suburban has a different style seal than was used on the "cab" doors.

Steele rubber sells the correct rubber seal.
I think this is the rear door seal material, as found on my Suburban?
Although, they now also show this seal. More like the side door seal?

Jim Carter also sells the style found on my rear doors.

I hafta point out that Tims Steele links show a "2nd choice" cited as for doors needing a heavier seal [and is shown as working for the 53 panel/burb rear] - and Carter is totally wrong about that seal being for the 55-59 barn doors, Steele has the factory correct 55-59 seals - Carters would also be a "make do" for the 60-66 doors

Uh, oh. So are we looking at one type of seal for the '53 and earlier? Same as the side door seal. Or does the '53 and earlier take the '54 rear door style?

** That is the 64,000 dollar question. ** My 53 Suburban was 99 percent orig. the only missing part was the l/h prop for the upper clamshell. When I removed the seal for the lower clamshell the seal kind of looked like the front door seals but after 64 years who knows? Am still trying to convince myself as to what seal to order.
