The 50 cab has mounts at the back on each side of the frame, you will need to drill holes in frame rails for them if not already available.

Find someone who has a 49 or later truck and see if he will let you take some precise measurements of where the holes need to go. The precise location of these holes his crucial for making cab alignment easy.
