I have a 1956 Pickup with an Apache hood. The hood doesn't latch, It doesn't seem to line up right. The guy I bought the pickup from kept it closed with a bungee cord. Is there a way to make it work?

no luck, the shape of the 58/9 hood is different than the 5-7 hood, will never fit, the side curves suit the different fender shapes

I have a 56 GMC hood not doing anything.
I'll keep a slow eye out in the parts wanted section...

Bart - I didn't look at your pic at first, that isn't an "Apache" hood [58-62], it's a 57 hood, and you should be able to make it work right, the latch mechanism may be frapped or the hinges may need adjusting
