| | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy GreggE, as others have said the dimmer switch is the likely culprit, if you still have functioning high beams the light switch should be fine. The dimmer switch switches the power to the different filaments in the headlights, the only other thing I can think of is both your low beams could be burnt out, it does happen, hope that helps. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2017 Posts: 55 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2017 Posts: 55 | Thanks for all the help. I found the time to look into it this weekend, so I went to turn my lights on.... the high beams is where I had left them and when I switched to the low beams for some reason they came on (not complaining) Leaving well enough alone for now but I do have plans to remove the switch and clean the contacts as recommended. I believe thats the problem Thanks again for the help.
