I found everything I need BUT the spring sets!!! Anyone know a place that sells these?? It seems like you can find anything for a 1/2 ton 3100. But when it comes to the 3/4 ton 3600 trucks, no one has what your looking for.

I have seem some early 51 year hucks on the swaps we do and I think GMC was a year lower or higher on the huck change.
With that said you can swap a huck for a bendix if you have the parts and backing plates. The upper spindle bolts on huck should be 7/16 while the bendix are half inch

I saw in Classic Parts catalogue that they have the springs for 3/4 and 1 tons. It lists them from 47-52, not sure if 53 is different but you could check with them or compare your spring to the ones on their website. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | The Napa catalog shows the parts for 53-59 3/4 ton with 12 in. brakes front & rear. Return springs 80301. Hold down kit 80412. These are a set for one axle.
