Click on 42 Sara Hannah and Abby at the bottom of my post to see my truck. I'm not sure what color would go best. Black, Tan or one of the Greens or some other color? | | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 888 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 888 | 6xDad, Truk looks great....Maybe tie grill into fender or interior color......or chrome.....Chrome looks good.

I don't have enough to buy a chrome grille and the one I have will not be able to be rechromed (It's rough) and has to be painted. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 84 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 84 | That is hard to say without seeing how the rest of the truck is finished out. You might want to try a bright silver base coat with no clear if you don't want a sharp contrast like black. That would give it more of a cast look than painted.
Looks like it is coming along nicely..... | | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 284 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 284 | Treyz That sounds very interesting. My daughter is now voting for that. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 84 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 84 | Great. If you decide to go with that I hope it give the apperance you are looking for. If not it can always be painted a different color later. re-post when you get it finished I would like to see it ....
Good luck with it. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 319 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 319 | This could be an idea for your grille. http://innate.com/Paint/Chrome/Chrome.htm Might be more than you're willing to spend but you could call the company and get their opinion on how much would be needed and the necessary prep. Enjoy your truck whatever you decide! It's looking great.
