Took head to machine shop, they said it is cracked by head bolt holes. Could not find a person to bake and weld the cast iron. 1. Large or small intake port (yours is almost certainly "small", intake about 1-1/2")
2. They repair big commercial engine blocks and heads, but I'm not sure if they also work on passenger car and light truck equipment. He should read the last four digits of the casting number on his head, my guess is that he needs a 4819 head, There are no other heads that will swap to a 248 other than the cracked one he already has...
I have a couple of heads, but I need to know which one he needs.

Either way a google search should bring them up.
