Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2015 Posts: 113 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2015 Posts: 113 | do you guys know if the standard body mount bushings available for 1/2 ton trucks are the same as a big bolt. i am looking at the kits and i don't know if it is right. i can only see the rear cab mounts on my truck and they have a rubber donut shaped bushing between the cab and the mount and one below the mount. this is one link but i can't tell what's in the bag jim carter cab mountsthis is a link from eBay that clearly shows the parts. ebay

There are 4 bushings needed, two on each side, they sandwich the frame cab mount allowing both up and down motion as the frame twists under heavy load. I got a hunk of scrap rubber from a local rubber supply company that they sell for the bottom edge of snow plow blades. Turns out it was the exact thickness needed and I used a hole saw to cut the round bushings out.
