I can get a 17" wheel in there, but would like to get an AD fender in. If you extended this home made one, you could blast 1/2 then flip it over for the other 1/2. Call me a redneck. I have too much on my plate to get this idea started. But I think it's a great idea (for someone who has an understanding wife).
I want to convert a truck cab into a giant sandblasting cabinet.
Buy a junk Ranger or S10 truck. Strip off the bed and everything in front of the firewall. Leave the doors and glass intact. Remove the seat, steering and pedals.
Now cut two arm holes in the back of the cab for the sandblasting gloves. Just about anything can be put inside the cab. He used and old AD cab and can blast just about anything in it including fenders. I don't remember how he recycled his sand, or if he did, but it would not be hard to have a raised floor in it for the sand to drop into and be reused until its to bad... go for it Jay.
