I replaced the gas tank and sending unit soon after buying it last year and got it running. The fuel gauged worked. I've driven it 3 trips 1/2 mile or less. Now the fuel gauge does not work. Yes the sending unit ground wire is well grounded. The sending unit is new. I pulled the sending unit and ran a ground wire jumper to battery ground post and jumper wire from unit to gauge Nothing when I moved float Wire from switch to gauge seems fine. Cleaned terminals and wire connectors. Wires test out fine Sooooo how do I test the actual gauge to see if that's where problem is. Thanks for any advise or opinions. I not only love this site but need it Ivelearned so much here ! THanks to all who contribute. | | |
