I moved you to the HiPo shop. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2016 Posts: 916 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2016 Posts: 916 | Your links aren't working? Photobucket can be a troublesome site.

Take a look at mine. It is all original, however, I had front axle bent 4 inches and rear end dropped 3 inches using blocks. Front axle is about 4.5 inches off the ground. I have a hard time using trailers. All shocks and leaf springs are original. I have a ruler laying by the front axle. In the picture I am not level with camera and you can still see the 2 x4 under both tires.

You should be able to have the truck roll with either front tire removed from the rim, without anything dragging on the ground.
Also, you'll need to have your steering arms corrected for the drop- especially for the drag link angle.
You can find examples of trucks on Nostalgia Sid's website: droppedaxles.com

Like Dave stated, ensure you have it all planned out and calculate your scrub line more than once. I screwed it up and went lower then I should have.
