Was it a deluxe trim option, or was added after '49 (oldest previous cab I had).

I recently bought aftermarket handles and they don't have the same screws (just one) and don't stay on when you slam the doors. I am going to buy some Allen head set screws (easier to put more torque on them) and grind points on them similar to the original set screws, then add another Allen set screw to lock it in place. For the record, I did not hi-jack this thread. Mark did, and HE should be admonished.  Carl

There was no trace of them on 3 previous sets of doors I had And the panel was pretty much intact on 1 set.
No matter, the 48 2 ton interior was all leather. Those panels would have been too thick to fit in them. Will probably do this one as well.
Rolled the leather around the edges for the finished look. | | |
