Any words of encouragement would be nice, buy if I am royally screwed, please have fun shreading my dream! | | | | Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 592 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 592 | Stan, I've been searching for the same for a '57 GMC. I finally have a set. They would be the same on your Chevy.
I live in Gilbert and I see that you are in Phoenix. I don't think that the stops would be hard to fabricate if you had originals to make a pattern. You are welcome to use mine to trace a pattern, or to compare them to the ones that you bought to see if they can be adapted.

I just recently got a pair on evilbay for up to year 57.I spent a short time playing with placement but the angles seem a problem.Yeah I'd like to get together for some research, although the panel cant be driven at this time...There is an exact pair again on ebay.Seller is advertising through 59. I challenged him and waiting on a reply... | | | | Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 3 Jersey Joe | Jersey Joe Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 3 | Hello All, ***** no person-to-person buying/selling/trading in this forum **** ***** use personal message or email oe Swap Meet ***** Jersey Joe

The oem sliders allowed the door to pull out of the intermediate stop position,so I relocated it to the rear of the slier to catch the door securely.Havnt mounted them yet though... | | |
