Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 4,252 | Thanks Alvin! I'll give it some thought. One glass has a deep scratch from a wayward RAS that an over exuberant body man inflicted sometime in the past. Current dilemma is whether to repair my original external handle or buy a new one and modify per your tech tip. Either way, door paint and reassembly needs to be completed in three weeks as the Suburban needs to be in Tucson by that time. | | |
