Its a great carb, but the auto choke has always been a bit temperamental, great when its in proper adjustment, and a pain to adjust when its not.
so my question, is anyone aware of a manual choke conversion kit for this carb? Alternatively, if anyone knows the appropriate manual choke YF model, I'm all ears.

I'm not saying Rochesters cant work well, just that I have three of them on the shelf collecting dust.

Call me! 573-392-7378 (9-4 Mon-Tues central time).
JW - the 2100s are readily available, just significantly more money than the Rochester.

I actually have a nice rebuildable 2101s, but I'd prefer to keep the manual choke, so I keep looking for a 2100. Haven't found one at the right price yet.

I did eventually locate one after looking for a while. Rebuilt it with a kit from Carbking. It seems to be working perfectly but so was the Rochester I replaced. I guess I had a good one (I used the best parts from 3 to rebuild it originally). So far I can't detect any advantage to the Carter.
