Spring is almost here!! I have had Clyde out 3 times already this year. Anyone else?

Zion, IL has their Nostalgia Days every father's day weekend. On Saturday, they shut Sheridan road (sometimes 6-7 blocks) for the car show.

Nostalgia Days

Is there any interest in a group of us getting together?

Last year, Clyde won 1st place in the "Diamond in the rough" category. My dad, Clyde's previous owner, is coming out for the show this year.

I would like to attend more get-togethers but the all seem to be too far for a day trip. I just got back from Stovebolt Hq. It was 1700 miles round trip in a 1954 truck and I am not so young either. I belong to an MG club and it has been 30 years or more since their national meet was close. Oh well, just my luck. Your one in Aug. is just 2 weeks from The Kansas city get together. To much for an old man. frown

I just wanted to put 2 cents in here, this is a really nice show, and I have attended most years (5 blocks from the house!). Unfortunately I have committed to Tractor Pulling this year and will be in Ohio.
This is a pretty nice area, not really rural but certainly not part of Chicago. There are a couple good motels here and several not so good, but lots of rooms along I 94 in Gurnee IL or Kenosha WI. all within 10 miles.
If your not to far this is a well run show and always fun.
