2. I did my work cab on and rebuilt the mounts as I went. Not sure if on or off is best but it worked for me. I worked one side at a time so cab was always mounted at 3-points.
When you get to the outer panels fit them with the doors hung and as close to where they should be as possible (hopefully your temporary supports do not prevent this). A 1/4" off on those outer panels is almost impossible to make up in adjustments.
3. Cut your way in, weld your way out.
4. Unsure of a next step, post a question here.
5. Do not expect the panels to fit without sometimes extensive modifications.
6. The poorer your welding skills the more pre/post work you will encounter.
