My truck came with the optional elec. motor which has failed. I can't find a replacement under $500 on eBay. None of the vendors I've searched seem to have them.

The solution is to buy one of the vacuum conversion motors, which require different arms, so I'd have to buy those, too.

I'm prepping the truck to sell (BaT has accepted it) and want to list it with "wiper motor inop, replacement supplied", but I'm unclear if that conversion motor takes the old cable switch or will use the elec. switch of the motor/switch set up I've got now. That is, do I need to get a conversion motor, the arms, AND a switch??

Anybody help with some info?
thanks!

There are places/people that will rebuild the motor. I have done business with The Wiperman, in WI (?) many years ago. You may find someone closer.

Ficken doesn't do electric motors or sell parts

Rev, if you go to the repro electric vacuum replacement you'll need the different link arms from the original vacuum setup, but the new wiper motor should come with a switch [electrical, shown here], the cable switch is only used on a vacuum motor
