I fabed a bracket myself for the dual master I use. Send me your email and I can send you a short write-up and some pictures.

I did what George did, fabed a bracket for a tandem MC for my '36 PU. It was pretty simple and uses a modern MC push rod threaded for the original '36 clevis. The system also uses 2 Wilwood 10 pound residual pressure valves.

Why do you need some 'heavy metal'?

hoozat,

If you invent your own MC mount would you mind posting a picture. I'd be curious how it compares to the one I made for my '36 PU just recently.

A big part of the fun of this hobby is the endless opportunities to do these upgrades on the vintage iron.

If you're in a rural area and metal stores don't exist one potential source may be Home Depot. I've seen various flat bars there. On my MC mount I used some 3/16" plate that was left from a cross member I made for my son's '66 Chevy PU.

Wayne, what did you use for your master cylinder? I'm looking for a dual for my 42 1.5 ton.

Hi 42Buffalo, Welcome to the best forum on the net. Take a couple of minutes to introduce yourself in the Welcome center.

I used a 1 inch bore with the ports towards the passenger side. I went to my local NAPA and looked though the m/c book pictures and matched it from that. I don't know what the application is for.

I wouldn't use a smaller bore, it reduces the amount of fluid being pushed into the lines. Bigger is better.

Bigger makes for a stiffer pedal.
