Have just finished wiring my 53 3100. Would like to know if anybody has found an Amber 6 Volt Park Light & Turn Signal Bulbs? The wiring harness came with the double contact sockets already attached. Just had to drill out the hole in the back of the park light, to 3/4 of an inch. Don't want to put Amber lenses on them. I like the stock look. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rugo

Is it a BA15 base? Are the pins offset or straight across? If you know the number of the bulb you can google it. The 1154A might be what you're looking for.

You should look to vintage VW suppliers. VW changed from 6 to 12 in about 1966 and these bulbs were common to Karman Ghia models. Here are some from eBay you can look at:

Should be able to google obsolete bulb numbers. Just
look for 6V or 12V and you should be good to go.

Thank you guys for your guidance. Tiny, I took a look at the inventory in the website that you attached. I have just emailed the fellow about some products. Brad, good idea with the VW angle. I will widen my search, to include VW 6 volt bulbs. Tim, I like the idea of the LED, for the brightness and the lack of voltage it needs. Just not sure I want all those little lights shining through my clear lense. Trying to stay a bit more period correct. Though, I have not ruled them out. I really appreciate your help guys. If anybody else has any other suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks,
Rugo

In the event that anybody else is looking for bulbs for your 6 volt systems, the link that Tiny attached to post was very helpful. Some of the bulbs were available at NAPA, or other parts store. The Amber Park Light/ Turn Signal, wasn't available in the 6 volt version. But the 1154A, was available and at a fair price. Here is the link again. http://www.taillightking.com/light_bulbs.htm I have some on their way now. Thanks to everybody that gave advice and direction.
