Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 19 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 19 | I'm still trying to figure out if the bed on my 5? is actualy from a 54. After looking at some pictures of my bed side's and pictures of other "Known" 54's there is some difference's . The flat top on mine does not end in a roll . It is squared off. This make's me think that the side piece's are hand made by the previous owner. I'm trying to determine if the bed is a hand made 53(using the 53 height specs) made with a a flat top . Or if it is a true 54 using the 54 height specs.
Can someone measure the top of the bedside to the bottom (bed floor) by measureing on the inside of the bed. I need both a 53 and a 54 measuement.
I will try to figure out how to post a picture so you folks can see what I'm talking about.

I do have both beds, a 53 and a 54. They look just like the pictures Tim sent with the rolled top. Measuring vertical inside the bed from the angle on the bed floor to the bend in the top of the bed, the 53 is 14" and then angles up, the 54 is 17 1/2 and then angles 90 degrees.
