what is the appropriate paint scheme for a '67?

like..body color for the main. with white inserts? or...chrome somewhere..? kinda confuseda s to what it should be.

any ideas? suggestions>? please??

also. chrome paint. does it exist?? and if so..does it do a decent job?

1969 K20 , with a '67 front clip. fleetside. 292, 3x1 offy, headers. sm465 4spd. getting put back together, almost ready for paint.
doing it all myself.

sam - I think all the grilles were like this , w/ the chrome trim around the openings, everything body color - chrome paint is a last choice for foolin folks across the road!

Bill, that seems to be the trand i've noticed. however, my grille has white inserts...

so. needless to say. i think she was a very base model. lol.

jusst did a search for chrome paint..rattle can Plasti-Kote..or something..chrome bumper paint.

I've used that to touch up dings on a chrome bumper, sam - pretty flat silver next to real chrome

I think they came two ways new. Chrome with body color inserts or white with white inserts.
