Im going to put it on my '50 4100 with some custom made fenders. I'll have to put some shallow wheel wells in it but I think its going to look great. The box I got even has matching patina on it. Still need a tailgate for it though.

For ideas on fender extensions and other nicely done metalwork to make a dually 1 ton check out this thread. https://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/1107350/New_9ft_bed_progress!!.html#Post1107350 | | | | Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 331 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 331 | A 50 4100 has a wheelbase of 137", same as the 3800 1 ton, which has a 9' bed. It will work perfectly.

Mine will be unique when it's done. There won't be another one like it.

1950? if a pickup bed - all were "stepside" (a 1-ton cab/chassis model was also available)
1966? a stepside and fleetside 3800 pickup was available
year in your question? 1950 4100 = it looks like none of them came with rear fenders? | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,189 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,189 | The 3804 was a factory 9' step side pickup with single rear wheels. Mike B | | |
