Got to much on my plate and no room in my garage. Car is in my nephew's shop which is close by.I've had this car for 2 1/2 years. Just the short take of things.....

1956 Truck 261 engine newly rebuilt, all new valves and 848 head was drilled to match coolant holes in the 261 engine, new water pump with adapter to raise fan along with new aluminum radiator, newly rebuilt distributor, new coil/plugs ect. Engine runs great. Starter and Generator rebuilt by a friend of mine who does it for a living.

Rebuilt wheel cylinders. New M/C. New shoes ect.
Car has been stripped to bare metal and a guide coat and epoxy primer.
Body was not taken off chassis but floor pans and trunk pan solid. There was some metal damage to the left rear fender which was stripped and the metal worked the old fashion way. Chrome stuff is daily driver except for one bumper which needs to be rechromed. I have blasted and cleaned up the headlight buckets and other related stuff. I have new tail light assemblies. Gas tank removed and cleaned/painted and new sender unit installed. Bumper brackets blasted and painted.
Tie rod ends are new and I have rebuilt the idler arm. Original rims have a new set of tires I put on it about 2 months ago. Rims were blasted and a coat of "white" paint sprayed on them as I was planning on a white car. The inside window trim was also blasted and painted the same white but I'll blast it back off if buyer wants it done.

This is NOT the salesman coupe as it does have a back seat. The back window do not roll down but "slide" back about 4". I have removed, cleaned the slides. I have the felt to do all windows. I planned to keep the car original, except for the engine. Interior is definitely daily driver quality but could use a new rubber mat!
Still work to be done on this car but a dang good start and you can still do what you want with it.

$5500 is the price. Many folks are wanting 3500 or more for junk and they are not the desirable coupe.
Price is firm guys, as I have invested a total of 8 grand in this car. Its sell it now or I'll end up keeping it as I will continue to work on it when I can.

Click on my signature link below for the 1950 coupe to see some pictures.
The grille/bumpers/stainless trim are in my shop.
If interested please send me a PM or email. My email address is in my profile. We can exchange phone numbers and talk. Cash required.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
